Day nine

07th May 2015

Today was a day off work and i had the lovely job of going to the Council to try and switch our council tax over to the new flat. I was greeted by a rude and patronizing women on the front help desk. When i asked her if i could speak to someone regarding my council tax she said with out battering an eyelid "ohhh, is this to do with your benefits." How bloody rude, for one saying it in a patronizing way as if i was a piece of shit on her shoe and two stereotyping a person who in fact works a 52 hour week and just so happens to have a day off on a Friday cause not everybody works nine to five. What is wrong with people these days.
Any way rant over.
After sorting out the council tax i came home to clean the kitchen and pack a few more small boxes of things. then cracked on with my exercise goals for the week. Completed a upper body circuit consisting on Squat presses, commandos, triceps dips and mountain climbers with push up. My upper body strength is, well it is nothing, I have none. My arms were jelly after three commandos, but i carried on with a few modification moves. Then i went straight to the cross trainer and did 40 minutes of low intensity cardio with my ankle weights. Total of 767cals burnt according to my polar watch.


in other exciting news while i was in town i had to go and get some sandwich bags for Ben and came across these two snacks. Ive seen on loads of slimming world instagram accounts these mallows treats and i found some Caramel ones in Poundworld which are 55cals and only 3syns per mallow. I was looking at the yogurt covered fruit as a more healthier version of a syn instead of crisp when i came across these fruit gummies where are 60cals and 3syns per bag. These bags are only small but i'm sure they are better for you than jelly sweets, these are also suitable for vegetarians which is rare to find in jelly sweets.

Breakfast


Really wanted toast this morning but we are all out of wholemeal bread, sad face.
I had one slice of Bens white bread at 106cals and 5syns!Ouch.
Washed down with a coffee with almond unsweetened almond milk 26cals and HEA. 

Lunch


After working out all morning i decided to tuck into my M&S fruit pack that i bought yesterday. It includes green apples speed, Melon speed and Kiwi which is just free in a total of 159cals

Dinner 


homemade frozen veggie cottage pie topped with swede mash, 267cals and prefect for an SP day.
side of cabbage and green beans, 71cals and speed free 
added 100g of pasta as Ben had some left over from his food, 220cals and free on slimming world.
topped with 2 tbsp of chopped tinned tomatoes, 17cals and free on SW
 

Snacks


Tried my new syn snack sadly you only get eight gymmies in a pack for 60cals and 3syns, but one, the flavor is amazing so juicily. Two, they are low in syns and actually give you that sweet feeling as if you were eating gummy jelly sweets.
Also ate a hard boiled egg white, as i don't like the yolk.  17cals and Protein on SW.
Had a weight watcher caramel mallow, 55cals and 3syns.
  
Same as the past week, i also had the cheesy goodness of quavers. 85cals and 4syns.

HEA  ✔️
HEB. No HEB today as ran out of wholemeal bread and don't have anything else on the list in the house till we go shopping for the new flat.
Syns = 15 out of 15
Total calories = 1059
