Week 3 day 1

18th May 2015

First day on the Extra Easy SP plan. I know I will be going out for a meal for Ben's mothers Birthday on Wednesday so I am determined to stick to the SP plan religiously.  Today was the end of my night shift so i got to bed at 0730 and didn't wake up till about 1430. Felt so fatigued that i felt like i had a hangover. Waited for Ben to come home so we could pop to Morrisons and grab a fews bits for the week including mushy peas and tinned tomatoes for sauces and curries and some fake meats to up my protein. Got some Quorn sausages and steaks, they were half price. I've never had the mince but i thought i would give it a shot. Came home and made some food, stuck to plan even though Ben was munching on flatbread. I stayed strong.

Dinner.


Dinner was curried green beans with salmon. First I fried the chopped onion and green beans and added some garlic spice. Once golden i tipped in a tin of tomatoes and a sprinkle of curry powder and left it to simmer for 10minutes while the salmon cooked. Everything in this meal is speed and the salmon is protein.
For dessert i had chopped apple, grated apple and strawberries, all speed mixed with Quark which is protein.   I added a drop of vanilla essence and sweetener to taste to the quark.

Snacks


Options butterscotch hot chocolate 2syns with HEa almond milk
HEB toast with quark protein and 1tsp Sainsburys chocolate spread 1.5syn

I haven't record my calorie intake today as I am so sleepy from my night shifts that i completely forgot to measure the weight of everything. This isn't a major thing as on slimming world you are only meant to count the syns not the calories. 
Total syns 3.5.
